A powerful combination of intention setting, yoga asana and meditative sound work, will combine in a class that embraces letting go of the old and creating the new, allowing participants to claim their own reality in a session that brings together some of the most potent healing practices from around the world
Samm Short, a yoga and meditation teacher, artist and writer, will guide participants in a workshop to be held on Friday September 30, to set their own intentions and affirmations in writing – using the physical practice of yoga to create the space needed for this in body, mind and heart. Inspiring and encouraging, these practices will enable each participant to identify their dreams and begin to make them manifest.
Sarah Stephenson is an experienced vocal coach and sound healer, using sacred Himalayan bowls as well as the voice to create an energetic space in which old experiences are able to be released and new visions realised. Participants will be guided through a sound-based chakra cleansing meditation and chanting circle, exploring how resonance and sound can embed their intentions deeply within the body and spirit.
The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience – for any specific needs please contact Sarah or Samm to discuss how best to accommodate and support you. Places are limited to ensure a safe and powerful space can be created for each participant; early booking is recommended.
For more information or to book your place, contact Samm on 07436 158008 or Sarah on 07581 716233. The workshop will take place on Friday September 30 between 6 and 8:30pm at The Elysian Centre, Rye. The cost is £30 or £25 for concessions.
