Despite the rain, there was a good turnout of about 100 people for the Swap Shop last Saturday, April 9, at St Mary’s Centre.

A quarter of a tonne of items were donated by attendees, 64% of these were taken away by others, 28% went to charity shops, three per cent went to recycling and just five per cent was destined for landfill.

If you missed it, there are two more coming up in the near future:- Saturday May 14, 12-2pm at Camber Memorial Hall (more information to come on this, as it is the first Camber event) and Saturday June 18, 9:30am- noon at Tilling Green Community Centre.
