Peasmarsh Church of England Primary School will be holding two open days in November for their 2022 reception year intake.
Parents are invited to book a slot between 9:30am and 11:30am, November 9 and 11, for guided tours of this family-orientated school with a reputation of good results, finishing sixth in the country rankings in 2019.
Lison Smart has been headteacher for five years and has placed a priority on children’s health and wellbeing, with outdoor activities very much encouraged. With extensive grounds, the school boasts two assault courses for pupils to enjoy, a popular forest school, and a beach school, where science-based learning provides a core part of the school curriculum.
Lison said: “We encourage creativity and all our pupils enjoy their art and their music. We have mixed-age classes and split groups to provide greater nurturing and attention, something we feel is very important since the pandemic and months of remote learning.”
