The Rye and District Country Show returns to Elm Tree Farm in Icklesham on Saturday August 20 in aid of St Michael’s Hospice and full details of the horse and dog show events, and booking forms for the classic car show can now be found on the hospice website.
The horse show includes a wide variety of events, with one pictured above, ranging from clear round show jumping to horses and hounds and the prettiest mare and handsomest gelding.
The dog show also includes a wide range of classes from pedigrees to crossbreed and novelties, and the classic car show will be as varied as the owners.
Other attractions normally include a variety of tents stocking things to buy, eat or drink and supporting a variety of country organisations.
