The RNLI Crew at Rye Harbour are dedicated to enhancing their skills by training whenever the opportunity arises. It is a team effort and many of the new recruits are being mentored through their modules by those who have more experience. All those at the station are volunteers who are on duty 24/7 and 365 days a year.
Training on Tuesday, September 20 had an added bonus, the sighting of the French training ship Belem and a perfect sunset.
