The Campaign for Action in Rye (CFAIR) is now meeting every second Thursday of the month between 7pm and 9pm at Tilling Green Community Centre. On July 9, it will be discussing whether “Rye in Bloom” should be resurrected. The campaign is also setting up two groups – one to focus on footpaths, and the other to scrutinise local decision making. The first will be checking up on paths which are overgrown and affecting accessibility so problems are quickly reported. The second group met this week to explore which issues CFAIR should prioritise for closer scrutiny of local decision making.

CFAIR hope to involve a committee of young people in discussions with Rother Council about improvements to the play park at Masons Field in Tilling Green and the Skate Park at the Salts. For more information, contact Secretary Tracy Dighton on 07595 250111 or tracydighton100@gmail.com (Source: CFAIR)
