Police appeal after indecent exposure

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after an man exposed himself to two women in a Rye shop.

The incident happened on The Mint at around 12.30pm on Thursday 6 April.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said, “Officers were called to The Mint after a report that a man had entered a shop and exposed himself to two women inside. The suspect is described as a white man, between 60 and 70, with grey hair and a beard. He was wearing khaki trousers, a cap and a backpack, and is described as having a scruffy appearance.”

The man left the shop before officers arrived.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting serial 666 of 16/04.
