A walk on the WiDEYE side

Sunday 3 May saw the first of WiDEYE’s community walks, meeting for 9am at their High Street store. We were met by Annabel who gave us a short introduction and explained this was simply the idea to do something nice, to be able to get outside, meet new people and to walk around our lovely town of Rye. Annabel explained that the WiDEYE team are all outdoors people, whether that be in a sporty way or enjoying gardening, the one common theme is they all love to be outdoors as much as possible.

Liz (store manager) led us on our 5 km walk along with Evie (store assistant) around Rye, taking in some of the sights, slightly having to detour due to rail tracks being closed for works; that didn’t matter as everyone was enjoying the walk, chatting and being outside taking in the scenery.

Down by the river

We were lucky the rain held off and it was actually rather humid. It was lovely to see everyone smiling and chatting, getting to know people who I believe were all strangers at the start of the walk but with one thing in common, they all use and love the WiDEYE products.

WiDEYE opened their first High Street store in 2015 in Rye. If you’ve walked past, you will be aware of the lovely scents from their natural skin and body care range. Their products are all made locally at Rye Harbour. The brand prides itself on providing natural, ethical beauty products for all.

If you would like more information, then please visit the website www.wideye.co.uk or visit the store which can be found at 113 High Street, Rye.
