Rye Community Centre was transformed into a lively dance floor on Saturday evening as music lovers gathered for the latest Rye Disco Festival. With a playlist spanning disco classics and dance anthems, the event drew a crowd keen to let their hair down and enjoy a summer night out.
The atmosphere was warm in every sense of the word. The heat made for a steamy dance floor, but thankfully both sets of doors were kept open throughout the evening, allowing revellers to cool off with a breath of fresh air before returning to the music.
While most people opted for casual attire, a handful of guests embraced the disco spirit with sequinned tops, glittering dresses and a touch of sparkle, adding to the festive feel of the evening.
Rye Disco Festival continues to offer exactly what many people look for on a Saturday evening: good music, a friendly crowd and an excuse to dance. Judging by the enthusiasm on the dance floor, everyone left a little hotter, a little happier and with a few more songs stuck in their heads.
