Local artist Richard Adams threw open his home in Playden over last weekend, showing off a selection of new paintings and prints. Richard’s main studio is in Rye where he paints about 80 works a year, his high output partly the result of fast drying chalk pastels. His wife Jane Beecham (right in picture above) and daughters Evie (left) and Fern Adams also displayed their very different works, with many beautiful photographs, drawings and even decorated chairs, writes Seana Lanigan.
