Martin Scorsese spent 28 years bringing Shusaku Endo’s acclaimed 1966 novel to the screen. Set in 17th-century Japan, Silence is the story of two Portuguese Jesuit priests who face the ultimate test of faith when they travel to Japan in search of their missing mentor at a time when Christianity was outlawed and their presence forbidden. Starring Andrew Garfield, Liam Neeson, Adam Driver and Ciarán Hinds.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, 2D [12A] 134 mins
From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves. A Monster Calls [12A] 108 mins
A visually spectacular drama from acclaimed director Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphanage, The Impossible), based on the award-winning children’s fantasy novel by Patrick Ness. Twelve-year-old Conor attempts to deal with his mother’s illness and the bullying of his classmates by escaping into a fantastical world of monsters and fairy tales that explore courage, loss and faith. Sully: Miracle on the Hudson [12A] 96 mins
On January 15, 2009, the world witnessed the “Miracle on the Hudson” when Captain “Sully” Sullenberger glided his disabled plane onto the icy waters of New York’s Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard. However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his aviation skill, an investigation was threatening to destroy his reputation and his career. Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney.

DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls is an irreverent comedy extravaganza with incredible music. From the genius creators of Shrek, Trolls stars Anna Kendrick as Poppy, the optimistic leader of the Trolls, and her polar opposite, Branch, played by Justin Timberlake. Together, this unlikely pair must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they’ve ever known.
