Rye Fairtrade Steering Group hosted a Murder at Teatime afternoon, with a cream tea, at the Community Centre last Saturday afternoon, September 10. A goodly number of people attended and the Rye Players presented “Murder in Harmony,” a three-act play set in the Cotswolds. This was done in their familiar unique style, and after Act 2, there was time to study the clues and work out who had murdered the Vicar, whilst enjoying a variety of cakes and home baked scones with tea or coffee, all with Fairtrade ingredients. The winning team was the Tilling ‘Tecs, and the Crime Quiz was won by St Mary’s Sleuths.
