Sandra Sarkies, Margaret Stonham, Gilly Harding, Jane Howard, and Judith Ruffhead, all past or present senior staff at the primary school have reinvented themselves as the Marsh Art Collective.

The five got  together about a year ago and held their first exhibition at the Romney Marsh Visitor Centre. Their motive was to pursue, full time, what had, up till then, been just hobbies: paintings, ceramics, handcrafted glass, photography and silver jewellery

If you want to learn more about the Collective, come along this weekend or on Monday (11am to 5pm on all days) to the Red Door Alchemist Gallery at 58 Cinque Ports St where you can see and/or buy some of their artwork. Thee is also more about them on their Facebook page.
