Sussex’s thriving heritage

The 2020 Sussex Heritage Trust awards will be formally announced next week on Wednesday, November 25 after the annual awards ceremony was moved from the summer this year due to the pandemic.

But, despite the pandemic, over 70 award entries were received – and excellent architecture and design, traditional building skills and craftsmanship will all be celebrated as part of the Sussex Heritage Trust awards.

You can see see the full report of this year’s awards on the Sussex Heritage website, but of particular interest to Rye News readers is the possibility of awards for Druim Beach House at Winchelsea Beach, “The Orchard” in Love Lane and the Tillingham Winery in Peasmarsh. The virtual ceremony takes place at 12:30pm.
