The Dame Ellen Terry Barn Theatre is back in business after the long Covid intermission. The programme starts with the dramatisation of Robert Nye’s acclaimed novel, Falstaff.

‘The true and valiant deeds of Sir John Falstaff’ will be performed in a one-man show by Mr Mike Stoneham, directed by Mr Peter Mould. Merging Shakespeare’s great comic creation with the real-life soldier, ‘Sir John Falstaff’ produces a deeply moving, funny, bawdy romp through the middle ages, a warts-and-all tapestry of our favourite, larger-than-life old knight.
