The next concert by Bridgepoint Music is at the Rye Creative Centre this Saturday March 18 and features the harp, a fascinating and evocative instrument with an ability, much loved by French composers, to add a wonderful depth and colour to the timbres of chamber music.
The programme features three such composers: Ravel, Roussel and Saint-Saens, along with an eternal favourite of the repertoire, Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet.
Forming the ensemble are principal players from the Royal Opera House, leaders of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Orchestra of the Sixteen, the principal cellist of the Academy of Ancient Music and the London Symphony Orchestra’s harpist, Bryn Lewis.
Bridgepoint Music have always brought you performances of the highest quality, but this may be the best yet so do make sure you don’t miss it.
Tickets are £25 for adults (plus booking fee) under 18s are free
