As it warms up, we start to make our summer plans and think about putting dates in our diary such as summer fetes and events. The St Mary’s Church Summer Fete and Flower Festival is on Saturday the 18th of July with the Flower Festival going on all day on Sunday 19th July as well.
It’ll start at 10.30am and last until 3.30pm and it’s going to have amazing stalls, a wonderful raffle, drinks, cakes and games! It will be held inside the church should the weather not be kind for us!
With a couple of months before the event, we wanted you to put it in your diary. We’d be really grateful for bottles for the tombola, books for the book stall and maybe a few things for the bric a brac. If you are able to volunteer to help set up either Friday 17 late afternoon or on the day itself that would be amazing.
The Flower Festival will have displays from the church flower team as well as local groups and we are sure will be beautiful. Entry is free.
