Students and staff of Rye College chose Rye Foodbank for the target of their Christmas charity activity this year and came suitably attired on the day: in Christmas-themed non-school uniform.

The team from Rye Foodbank were blown away by the generosity of students and their families when they visited the school to meet student leaders and ambassadors and collect the donations.

  1. Thank you all! This was a wonderful effort by Rye College, and was a great example of one of the school’s core values – being kind – in action. It was a delight to meet with the student leaders and ambassadors and with Amy Biddle when we undertook the pick-up. The Rye Food Bank is honoured and grateful to have been chosen as the recipient of this kindness. Many are struggling in these difficult and expensive times, and every item and every pound donated to the Rye Food Bank is used for the benefit of local families.
