The fantastic Rye Country Show is being held again this year at Lea Barn Farm, Rye Foreign, Rye, on August 15.

The Show is supporting St Michael’s Hospice for the first time and now following the tragic fire at the Hospice it is going to be vitally important to raise as much money as possible whilst enjoying the show.

This year we have more Horse classes than before with some classes qualifying for Hickstead.

The hugely popular Dog Show is back with new Obedience, Pedigree and fun classes. There is also a brand new challenging Gun Dog Scurry and an Agility Club will be giving exciting displays with the chance for visitors to have a go.

The spectacular collection of Classic Cars are more numerous than before, with some very rare models on display, do come and chat to the owners of these magnificent machines.

An exciting new addition to the show is the Country Living Marquee with many Arts and Crafts and local artisan produce and a far larger range of outside  stalls featuring many unique hand crafted items. It is never too early for Christmas shopping!

The famous Pimms and Beer Bar will be present along with a far wider selection of food outlets for the more discerning palates.

There is plenty for all the family to enjoy including a Bouncy Castle, a Rodeo Bull and a Hoopla stall. Come and see the Ferrets, Birds of Prey and the Heavy Horses.

The main ring will feature displays by the Bloodhounds, Gun Dogs, Heavy Horses, the spectacular Children’s Ridden Fancy Dress, Birds of Prey, Terrier Racing and of course our special and hugely exciting Dog Grand National, open to anyone with energy to spare!

The Show opens at 9.00am, entrance is £7 per car including a programme and the Rye Community Bus will be running to the show from Rye Station on a regular basis with a £2 entrance fee.
