Rye Bonfire Society and Ryebellion are continuing to put the fun in fundraising!
On Wednesday 6 May they are hosting a Marvellous May Day quiz at the Mermaid Inn, tables are selling fast as this is always a popular event so don’t hesitate to contact Adams to book your team a spot.
Next up, and for the second year running they’re throwing a free community party, and everyone is invited. When…? Bank Holiday Monday 25 May. Where…? Cinque Ports pub garden from 2pm till 6pm
There’s a band, Sarah G and The Other 3 for those that want to throw some shapes, the Waffle Wagon will be there for tasty treats, bonfire society members will be on hand to showcase their torch making skills and Ryebellion will be drumming, loudly! What’s not to love… Although not a fundraising event as such any donations are always welcome.
Drum roll please, and, on Wednesday 3 June at the Mermaid Inn, the bonfire society are holding their biggest fundraising event of the year, their annual Grand Auction, formerly known as the auction of promises, the #fundraisingfemales have assured us that there really is something for everyone to bid on.
