En plein air class at the Rye Creative Centre with Georgie Watson

Georgie Watson works primarily from life and out in the landscape. The East Sussex coast is her primary source of inspiration, and she often paints on the beaches and sand dunes at Camber and over the Romney Marshes where the vast ever-changing skies dictate the direction of new pieces. Her classes, which suit all abilities, are focused on observing from life either outdoors (en plein air) or using a variety of still life set ups that are based around the seasons. She covers the range of building blocks that lead to more confident painting and drawing including composition, colour theory and tone. She also runs painting workshops both in the classroom at RCC and directly out in the landscape. There are two Camber dates coming up for the 28 July and the 21 August.
