Lovers of classical music will be delighted by two days of culture over the weekend of 4 and 5 July in two stunning venues. This is further evidence, if ever we needed it, of the wealth and variety of events we enjoy in Rye and the surrounding locality.
On Saturday 4 July, at 7.30pm in Winchelsea Church, The London Handel Players “return to present a richly varied programme spanning the elegance, drama and colour of early eighteenth century music.” Featured artists are Adrian Butterfield – violin and director, and Julia Doyle – soprano.
