Three short stories set in and around Rye will be recorded for Radio 4 at the Barn Theatre at Smallhythe Place next week, writes Seana Lanigan. The readings of the specially commissioned stories by Marian Garvey, Alison Fisher and Kellie Jackson will be broadcast at 7:45pm on Sundays July 12, 19 and 26. The director is Celia de Wolff, who directed Radio 4’s 10-part War and Peace earlier this year, also made by Pier Productions, who are responsible for this series, entitled A Pocketful of Rye.
