On April 22-23, make your way down into mystery theatre  at “The World of Legend” at 55 The Mint. You will be entertained by Sydney Kean who will perform a dark comedy monologue written by John Knowles. “A virtuoso bit of writing with a complex array of themes,” says Simone Witney in the Hastings Independent.

Toby Belch is unwell – featuring Sydney Kean

To whet your interest here is a short introduction from the poster: “Toby Belch is unwell, the years of drinking, smoking and late nights have had their toll and he begins to see himself as what he has become . . . Is this his epitaph? When do you let go of a dream?”

Toby Belch is one of playwright William Shakespeare’s minor characters, and a drunk. But could he have been someone else – Hamlet ? Richard the Third ? Or is that all in his dreams ?

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Entry is £10 or £8 for OAPs and students. If you would like more information or book tickets visit the website  or call 07813 035514
