The second weekend of South East Artists’ open studio was July 12 and July 13 so there is only one more week to go. There is without doubt a lot of wonderful art, including paintings, pottery and ceramics to be seen in this neck of the woods, but Tim Riddihough in Pett has an extraordinary exhibit in his garden and in every room of his house. Visitors can stroll around – mask to be worn inside, but not outside.

His designs, be they on paper or figures / animals in clay, are vivid and very different from anything else on offer. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is visually a feast. As he puts it: “House, garden, tower, sculptures, ceramics and paintings” most are for sale.

His address is Fardhem, Chick Hill, Pett level, Hastings, TN35 4EQ, off the Winchelsea Beach Road. He is also open at other times but only by appointment.  You can contact him at timriddi@btinternet.com or on 01424 813 294.
