Yes it’s true, the Rye Jazz and Blues festival have pulled it off again and are delighted to present an intimate concert with Curtis Stigers at St Mary’s Church on Thursday 12th December as part of the festival’s Christmas concert series.

Curtis has so far enjoyed a 23-year recording career with millions of records sold including hit singles, ‘I wonder why’ and ‘You’re all that matters to me’ as he continues to perform all over the world in concert halls, clubs and festivals often accompanied by his quartet, big band or orchestra.

An all-round and seasoned performer, Curtis enjoys a commanding stage presence as he delivers a seemingly unending catalogue of songs of varying genres in his own unmistakable style, a true professional singer, songwriter and exceptional saxophonist.

Curtis is not just an amazing saxophonist but a superb singer/songwriter.

Doors open at 7.00pm and the performance starts at 8pm with a fully licensed bar for pre-concert and interval drinks.

This is not the first time that Curtis has performed for Rye Jazz Festival and if last time’s sell-out concert is anything to go by tickets wont be around for long. What better Christmas gift than the chance to see such a great artist performing live in such an intimate venue as St Mary’s church.

Cool calm and collected, there is only one Curtis Stigers.
