Throughout the month of June from June 3-19, artists in the south-east are opening their studios to the public as part of the South East Open Studios exhibition taking place across Kent, East Sussex and Surrey borders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into the studios of around 200 local artists to discover the arts and crafts of the area and includes works in many mediums: ceramics, printmaking, painting, jewellery, textiles, glass, digital art, sculpture and woodwork.  Visitors can explore studio spaces, talk to artists and see them at work.

One local artist is Felicity Flutter whose garden studio is open showing her seascape watercolours alongside the ceramic work of Joanna Terry on June 9-12 and June 17-19. There are also artists including Annie Soudain in Fairlight, Sarah Nelson in Rye Harbour, Anna Whyatt in Rye, opening their studios in Northiam, Hastings, Pett Level, Udimore, Dungeness, Tenterden and many other places in the area.

There is a 124-page free guide and online guide listing all the artists included https://www.seos-art.org/seos-art-guide-2022/

Trail maps are also available https://www.seos-art.org/trail-maps/
