Another in the series of literary events in the lovely setting of Lamb House garden takes place on Saturday July 2. Richard Crowest, writer and broadcaster, will give readings from EF Benson and Rudyard Kipling, both of whom had local Rye connections and other authors. You are advised to bring rugs; cold weather is not expected, but a marquee is available if wet.
