Bowler Crab’s hilarious new production, William Shakespeare’s magical comedy ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ will be touring to Rye in The Tudor Room of The Mermaid Inn, on Thursday and Friday July 11 and 12.
Artistic Director Stephen J. John tells us “We opened last weekend at our resident venue in the open air at Half House Farm and the weather was kind to us and the audience feedback was absolutely fantastic. Thanks to all who came along, a big audience with big laughs and big applause; the reviews and recommendations have been fab!”.
He says “A Midsummer Night’s Dream is our fourteenth full Shakespearean production to date; it is a magical comedy with song, dance, romance, laughter and an awful lot of action. With some new cast members and others that are BC regulars, it has been a great pleasure to direct and re-approach the play from a completely different angle to our previous full production in 2013 and our current ‘pocket’ touring production of the same play”.
The show starts at 7:30pm and the doors will open at 7pm. There will be an interval and the show will end at approximately 10pm. Tickets are £16, available from www.bowler-crab.com or phone 07801893115 for more information.
Bowler Crab will be returning in the open air to Half House Farm on July 19, 20 and 21. See the web site for more information about other tour venues and dates
