I wish the Summer would come
I’m feelin’ kind of weary in my bones
Late Autumn’s in my bones right now
And I’m old, I’m feelin’ so old.

I wish the Summer would come
And then I’d laugh and be a child again
The sun’d shine and I’d be free again
Free to roam where I please.

I wish the Summer would come
‘Cos I’m tired of waitin’ alone
Things move slowly and die right now
And I’m old, I’m feelin’ so old.
