Very many thanks to all those who attended last week’s Bonfire Auction of Promises, we raised a magnificent £5,300 towards the 2022 Rye Bonfire Pageant.
Top lots from a diverse programme included Rye Fawkes chairing down 2022 at £300; Captain Pugwash drawings £500 & £620; Fly Fishing Experience with Gary ‘The Fish’ £240; sports massage by Rebekah Gilbert £200; a tasty meal for two at the Waterworks £100 and pallet of 50 bags of ornamental stone from Lang Rake Spar £120.
