At the sign of the black horse

As a gentle reminder and for those who didn’t realise, the Lloyds Bank mobile banking facility is available in Rye every fortnight.

Every other Wednesday, at the former cattle market car park off Rope Walk, between 10am and 11:45am, the vehicle in the photo above can be seen and visited in the car park situated close to the main entrance.

On offer are many of the usual banking facilities and their staff are looking forward to seeing you. With huge numbers of banks closing altogether in many towns and villages it’s a useful facility which we are lucky to have. Whilst their operating times are limited and not convenient for some, it could be another use it or lose it opportunity.

    • Hi Felicity, thanks for your enquiry and sorry I should have said, using Wednesday 5 July as a starting point it’s then every two weeks. Kind regards, Nick Forman, Editor

  1. Great facility, albeit a shame we have no branch now. Unfortunate, perhaps, that it isn’t on a Thursday… Dispensing cash on market day would make a lot of sense for shoppers and stall holders alike.
