Over two years, fundraising activities have included book sales, tombolas and an annual boules competition held in the car park.

Judith Anthony, owner of Salts Farm Shop and instigator of the fund raising says: “We are delighted with all the support we have had. This is a key site between Rye and Camber. The defibrillator will benefit locals and visitors alike and could be critical in saving lives, especially in the summer months when the roads become blocked with traffic”.

The defibrillator is situated on the outside of Salts Farm Shop and is for public use. Training is offered in basic resuscitation and the use of a defibrillator by Rother Responders.
