The Devil in Rye has been shortlisted for a prestigious Asian Restaurant Award. The winner will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at the Manchester Hilton, on Sunday June 23. More than 500 leading restaurateurs, chefs, food writers and VIP guests, including the Lord Mayor of Manchester Cllr Abid Latif Chohanare, are expected to attend the gala dinner.
Devil in Rye chef-owner Dev Biswal also has his Micheli- listed, The Ambrette fine Indian dining restaurant in Margate, Kent shortlisted.
More than 100,000 public votes determined the shortlist of the nation’s favourite Bangladeshi, Burmese, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Singaporean, Sri Lankan, Thai, and Vietnamese restaurants and takeaways.
