Rye Arts Festival is thrilled to announce that NFU Mutual Ashford, Tenterden & Whitfield have agreed to renew as the headline sponsor for September 2022.

Festival organisers are delighted to be renewing a partnership that started successfully in 2021 when the local NFU branch became the festival’s inaugural headline sponsor.

John Case, joint festival director said: “The financial backing is hugely important to us as we aim to put on East Sussex’s biggest and leading multi-arts festival and we are very grateful to the partners at NFU Mutual, Ashford, Tenterden and Whitfield. We are also delighted to be working in partnership with the whole team promoting the festival since they are clearly so committed to the arts, and also the local community.”

Darren Smith, one of three partners of NFU Mutual Ashford, Tenterden & Whitfield said: “It is an honour to once again be asked to headline sponsor the Rye Arts Festival. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the festival in 2021, with Gyles Brandreth being a particular highlight. We pride ourselves on offering a local, personal service and we remain ever invested in our customers and their interests. Rye is a short distance from our Ashford and Tenterden offices and we thoroughly enjoy working with the many individuals and businesses within the community.”

Rye Arts Festival will run from September 9-25 with a packed programme of events including folk and classical music, talks by authors, walks, drama and film.

To get a taste of what to expect, NFU Mutual Ashford, Tenterden & Whitfield have produced a short video of highlights from last year. Search NFU Mutual Ashford, Tenterden & Whitfield on Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter to watch the video.

Early bird tickets for selected events are on sale and can be purchased online from the website www.ryeartsfestival.org.uk.

The full programme will be announced on July 24.
