Gang of three rob woman in Rye

Three men robbed a 61-year-old woman as she looked around an empty property off Cinque Ports Street, Rye, on Monday April 13. The robbery occurred between midday and 1pm when the men walked in and threatened her. They stole the woman’s cash and mobile phone and are believed to have walked off in the direction of Ferry Road. The first man was white, stocky and in his late 20s. He had a dark beard, short dark hair and a spotty complexion. He was wearing a white shirt.

The second man was white, slim and also in his mid 20s. He had long wavy hair that was greased back. He was wearing a high-collared jacket. The third man was white and stocky with short, fair hair.
