Hovering to help – if needed

An air ambulance hovered over Rye last week as some accidents can involve serious injuries needing either a quick flight to the most appropriate hospital for specialist treatment or a smoother ride than an ambulance might provide by road – and no-one can be certain until the casualty has been assessed and treated at the scene. In this case though, an ambulance by road to Hastings Conquest Hospital met the need following a traffic collision involving a motorcycle in South Undercliff. Photo: Madeleine Eve.
