Jeake’s House in Mermaid Street has won an award from the Good Hotel Guide Editor’s Choice for 2017 as one of the best B&Bs in Britain, writes Kenneth Bird.  Proprietor Jenny Hadfield attended the ceremony at the Independent Hotel Show, Olympia, on Tuesday, October 18 and received a silver-framed version of the certificate. She told Rye News: “This is a wonderful accolade for Jeake’s and we are very proud indeed.”
