New parking charges come into effect from Monday January 18 at Jempsons store at Crownfields, Rye.
A new pay and display system is being introduced, allowing a two hour maximum stay. For one hour’s parking the £1 charge will be refundable on a purchase-in-store of over £5 between 9am and 4pm. For two hours parking, the charge is £3 with £1 refundable on the same terms. Parking will be free during store opening hours from 6am to 8:59 am and from 4:01pm to 10pm. On Sundays, a flat fee of £2.50 all day will apply. Full details will be found displayed at the car park.
