The government’s decisions on who can open up shop, when and why have not been met with approval from all quarters as some of the “big boys” seemed to be getting an advantage over others. One of Rye News’ readers sent in this photo taken in Rye High Street and the message is all too clear!
The sign, clearly a joke from a frustrated shopkeeper, has since been removed.
