New Road Residents’ committee have achieved a meeting with Highways England and Keith Glazier to discuss road-calming measures along the dangerous stretch of the A259 New Road, writes Richard Benn. Residents and the New Road, Kings Avenue committee members will attend the Rye Town Council meeting this coming Monday, October 31, at 6:30pm to express concern. A committee member will address questions to the council for advice and support.
