The pothole in East Street was infilled on Tuesday, January 26.
An email from East Sussex County Council (ESCC) Highways department came on the morning of Wednesday, January 27:
Thank you for your report regarding the pothole along East Street, Rye. I am writing to inform you that the local highway steward has recently inspected the area and raised for repairs to take place. I can confirm that these works have now been carried out and completed. Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
