After the presentations had been completed it was announced that one of the Divisions that the cadets belong to had been renamed in honour of a former unit chaplain and president of the unit, The Very Reverend Canon Basil O’Ferrall MA, CB, RN.

The Junior Division, for cadets between the age of 10 and 12, was named the John Royle Division. John Royle is the current unit president and has served on the unit committee for over 50 years.
