Rye Town FC’s 2024/25 season has come to an end.
Both teams did well with the first team taking second place in the premier league and
the reserves achieved fourth position in division one.

Shane Ridgers, coach and manager, sums up the year. “The first team saw a lot of changes this year, from players moving on to better themselves, to injuries, to new players.
This season we lost Milton, Jules, Hesmer and Brad for most / all of the season due to long-term injuries.
“We ended the season with Ollie Palmer, Oli Macdonald and Seb Kane all involved with Hastings United first team which is a great achievement for them.
“We had some strange results along the way but we still managed to finish second.

“The reserve team had back-to-back promotions but they still managed to fight for the title in division one. It was the last season for manager Kiran Monk, due to other commitments. We thank Kiran for his time with us and the great job he has done.
“All in all another great season for Rye Town FC. They are a great bunch of players, with amazing togetherness, providing a great environment for young players to be introduced into adult football. You are all a credit to the club and I am proud of you all. Enjoy your rest and we look forward to the 2025/26 season, when we go again.”
