With only six minutes played after the interval Tom Barlow struck his second of the game to put Town into the lead, there was no stopping them now and they ran away with the match with further goals from Charlie Stevens and Rob Levett in the 73rd and 78th minutes respectively.  The final score of 4-1 saw Rye into the next round of the Robertsbridge Intermediate Cup.
