Le Tour de Rye et Romney Marsh Challenge, the 11th Annual Cycle Ride organised by Rye & Winchelsea Rotary Club and Rye Wheelers, starts from the Rye Club, Market Road, Rye on Sunday, September 24 from 9 – 10am, raising money for local charities and good causes.

‘Oil those chains and be roadworthy!’ is the message from Rotary President Colin Baker, as he urges riders of all abilities to register for this year’s ride. With a short ride of 10km for novices, increasing to 25 km, 50km and 100km.

A signed route with marshalls where we think it helps, the route goes via Camber, Lydd and Old Romney to Hythe….a lovely country ride around the Romney Marsh.

Entrance by donation £10 Adults, £6 under 16 and 11 and under free when accompanied by a registered rider. Or ask for a sponsorship form.

A medal on completion for all riders and refreshments at The Rye Club.

To register email ryerotary@hotmail.co.uk or collect an entry form at Philipps & Stubbs, Cinque Ports Street, Rye.
