There’s a new twist for this year’s Peasmarsh Flower Festival, which takes place this weekend.

As well as beautiful floral displays, there’s a chance to search for mice hidden in the church based on this year’s theme – “Poems and Nursery Rhymes”. A competition was held for designs which can be found all over the building.

if you want to see the winning mouse for yourself – and find all the other runners-up who lurk around the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Peasmarsh – you will need to visit during the Flower Festival, which is taking place from Saturday May 24 to Bank Holiday Monday May 26 inclusive from 10am – 5pm.

The winning mouse can be found at the top of the “Hickory Dickory Dock” clock. Prizes are on offer for anyone who can find all the church mice and prizes can be won (of the sugary mouse variety).

In addition to the amazing floral displays there will be delicious refreshments on offer, a plant stall, a raffle with amazing prizes and plenty of activities for all the children.

Do come along and tell us if you think the right choice was made for this year’s Chief Church Mouse, we look forward to seeing you.
