Rye’s historic Norman parish church of St Mary’s has a close relationship with Christ’s Church in Rye, a suburb of New York, and the American church’s choir is visiting St Mary’s this Sunday, August 12, writes Charles Harkness. The choir will be singing at the 10:30am Parish Communion and the 6pm Evensong services and is also singing at St George’’s Chapel in Windsor Castle and at Truro Cathedral during its visit to England.
