On Saturday, November 24, Georgina Watson, Susan Prince and Tara Macdonald,  resident artists at the Creative Centre in New Road, organised a free pop up art shop offering different professional art creations from several artists and makers who have a studio in the Centre.

Angie White art creations for the tombola

There was Angie White who ran a tombola, baked some of the cakes and offered her paintings and decorations for Christmas trees and presents.

Stall holder Kathy Russell, also part of the New Road Artists, presented her artistic items of beautifully crafted flowers in picture frames, boxes and cards.

Tasty home made cakes

Another artist showed off her knitted art of wonderful brooches, hearts and flowers framed in cards and a wonderful Christmas wreath. In the cafe visitors were enjoying coffee, tea and scrumptious home made cakes. It should have been advertised more as it was a room full of treasures, lovely pottery included.
