Rye and District Bonfire Society’s Fashion Show sold out the town hall on Thursday January 30 and raised hundreds of pounds for the charity.
The Council Chamber was a stunning setting thanks to mayor Andy Stuart and the team for allowing us to use the town hall to fundraise for the society.
Sandra Clark, who runs the Funky Hen Secret Boutique, provided the clothes.

The men’s upcycled Harris Tweed jackets and caps were from Love & Lollipops.

Rye Fine Wines provided the pop-up bar and Graeme Foster was a brilliant compere.

Ryebellion Drummers were great models, and as a surprise they all appeared in a finale wearing full drumming gear – no drums!

A very successful night for the #fundraisingfemales with a fantastic £564 raised for the Rye and District Bonfire Society.
Our next event is on Saturday February 22 when it’s time to sing-along to the classic movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Get your tickets from Adams in the high street.

It was great fun, and I loved being part of it to raise money for the bonfire society. A great night and well done to all involved.
